Bellaire city taxrate lowered to proposed 7.1%

Last night they lowered the proposed rate to 7.1% with health care costs only rising 7.5%. Verma stated how Bellaire needs to have the feel that people who moved here want and Pappas agreed.

Most of council seems to want the higher rates and only Pat wanted it at 3.5%. They vote in a few weeks on ceiling and more talks to occur.
